DOWNLOADABLE SOCK PATTERN

This is my recipe for simple ribbed socks. They are knit cuff down in the round using a self striping yarn. If substituting your yarn for minis, I recommend making stripes of 6 rows per color. The pattern features an afterthought heel that doesn’t require you to cut open your knit, so you can enjoy the rythm of your knitting without interrupting your flow to focus on the intricacies of a heel flap and gusset. Finally, the toe is knit identical to the heel and is closed with a knit kitchener stitch without a tapestry needle, resulting in neat tension every time. This pattern is perfect for knitters who want to knit easy socks with a twist.
